So it's been more than a week since ROLE MODELS opened. I've seen it twice. If you haven't seen this movie yet, what are you waiting for? Funniest movie of the year. I am so happy for its success, number 2 at the box office (well not anymore thanks to Quantum of fucking Solace), and it has received a certified "Fresh" rating from Rotten Tomatoes. I laughed throughout the entire movie. Totally exceeded my expectations; yes, it's raunchy but there's also a few "heart-felt" moments. Rudd as always, plays an amazing asshole; Scott gives a great performance as well. Christopher Mintz-Plasse is perfect as Medieval outcast Augie, and as for Bobb'e J. Thompson, is this kid seriously only 12 years old?! "Fuck you Miss Daisy." This kid will go far. If you enjoy Apatow's films, you will definitely love Role Models. Overall, it's an incredibly hilarious movie. Amazing job, David Wain.
Speaking of which, Paul Rudd is hosting tonight's episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Hell to the yes.
